Welcome to ISIS Fund Services. We provide hedge fund and private equity administration outsourcing solutions to a wide range of global investment managers adopting a diverse range of investment styles. Our product offering specializes in hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, private equity funds and funds investing in insurance linked securities. We currently service over 140 client entities from our Bermuda, Charlotte and Cayman offices and our clients range from emerging managers to large institutional funds.
We were incorporated in 2007 as a Bermuda exempted company and we are a licenced Fund Administrator under the Bermuda Monetary Authority Investment Fund Act 2006. The Company was established as a joint venture with the ISIS Group.
The company was founded by a leadership team with significant in depth knowledge and expertise in fund administration. We are client focused and we have the ability to offer tailored products and services. Our success is built on the stability, professionalism and expertise of a large organization combined with the flexibility, autonomy and character of a hands on niche provider.
In 2010 we incorporated a U.S. subsidiary named ISIS Fund Services USA, Inc. and opened a full service operational office in Charlotte, North Carolina , USA.
In 2011 we partnered with the Horseshoe Group in a joint venture to form ILS Fund Services Ltd. ILS Fund Services provides fund administration and valuation services to investment vehicles which hold insurance linked securities and is a licenced Fund Administrator under the Bermuda Monetary Authority Investment Fund Act 2006.
In 2012, we formed a Cayman Island subsidiary ISIS Fund Services (Cayman) Ltd. This company was granted a Corporate Services License by the Cayman Monetary Authority and provides Registered Office services to Cayman domiciled entities. Also in 2012 we opened a sales Representative office in New York City.

Edith G. Conyers (Ede) is one of the principal founders, a director and Chief Executive Officer of ISIS Fund Services Ltd., a fund administration company, established and licensed in Bermuda in 2007, offering hedge fund and private equity administration outsourcing solutions to a wide range of global investment managers adopting a diverse range of investment styles. Our product offering specializes in hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, private equity funds and funds investing in insurance linked securities.
Until May 2007, Ede was General Manager of Citigroup Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd. (formerly Forum Fund Services Ltd.) and was an integral part of establishing that company in September 1997 with assets under administration growing to approximately $30 billion. Prior to setting up Citigroup Bermuda, Ede held the position of General Manager of International Corporate Management of Bermuda Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited, specializing in offshore fund administration and exempt company management.
Ede has over thirty years of banking and offshore fund administration and company management experience. Prior to moving to Bermuda, Ede was a lending officer in the Energies Division of Chemical Bank, New York. She graduated with a BA from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. Ede acts as director of a number of offshore funds and companies, a director of The Association of Bermuda International Companies and a member of the Investment Funds Act Committee of Business Bermuda as well as a number of its subcommittees.

Brian Desmond is one of the principal founders, a director and COO/CFO of ISIS Fund Services Ltd. (ISIS). As COO, Brian is responsible for product development, core technologies, company infrastructure and overall operations strategy related to growing the Company including assisting with business development. As CFO, Brian is responsible for the financial management of ISIS and its subsidiaries.
ISIS is a fund administration company, established and licensed in Bermuda in 2007, offering hedge fund and private equity administration outsourcing solutions to a wide range of global investment managers adopting a diverse range of investment styles. Our product offering specializes in hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, private equity funds and funds investing in insurance linked securities.
Brian has over fourteen years of fund industry experience having previously worked at Citigroup Fund Services (Citigroup) as Bermuda Country Head and also as Senior Vice President, Head of Operations. Brian joined Citigroup in July 2000 where he gained extensive experience in fund administration and was responsible for overseeing the fund accounting, shareholder services, audit and Net Asset Value preparation for global clients. He was also responsible for managing all new client implementations from an operational perspective and for establishing standards, controls and procedures for all North American operations. Prior to joining Citigroup, Brian worked as an audit senior in the investment group of Ernst & Young. He is a Chartered Accountant and acts as director of a number of offshore fund companies.

Jane is one of the principal founders, an executive director and the Associate Director of ISIS Fund Services Ltd., a fund administration company, established and licensed in Bermuda in 2007, offering hedge fund and private equity administration outsourcing solutions to a wide range of global investment managers adopting a diverse range of investment styles. Our product offering specializes in hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, private equity funds and funds investing in insurance linked securities.
Jane has over twenty years of experience in the offshore funds industry and is currently responsible for managing all aspects of administration for the ISIS office, supporting Operations by assisting with the Registrar and Transfer Agency functions and processes including antimoney laundering and anti-terrorist financing due diligence as well acting as the Company’s Reporting Officer. Prior to joining ISIS, Jane worked for Citigroup Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd. (formerly Forum Fund Services Ltd.) for ten years initially as Head of Shareholder Services and subsequently as Head of Implementation responsible for managing all new client implementations.
Jane started her career with BCB Fund Services Limited (formerly International Corporate Management of Bermuda Limited (BCB)), which was at one time a wholly owned subsidiary of Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited before the Bank exited that business. BCB specialized in offshore fund administration and exempt company management. During her tenure at BCB, Jane was promoted to Manager of the Shareholder Services Department and was responsible for overseeing the provision of registrar and transfer agency services to ICMOB’s fund clients.

Kristin joined ISIS as Manager, Marketing & Business Development in April 2010 and was later appointed to also act as the President of ISIS Fund Services USA, Inc. In these capacities, Kristin is responsible for all marketing and business development for the Company as well as the general office management for ISIS’s Charlotte office. Kristin has over 13 years’ experience in the financial services industry with the vast majority of that experience in the hedge fund administration industry. Her previous work experience includes designing and implementing a compliance program and also managing the overall office needs for a $2.5bn hedge fund in Charlotte, NC. Prior to moving to Charlotte, Kristin held Senior Client Relationship Management, Group Head and Investor Relations positions at both hedge funds and banking institutions, specifically in groups catering to the hedge fund community. In these roles, Kristin worked independently and also managed and grew teams while implementing policies and procedures and also driving product development.
Kristin has an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from Pace University and a B.S. degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Fordham University. Kristin is also very active in the Charlotte community where she co-founded a non-profit called The Lunch Project and also is an active volunteer with the Alexander Youth Network and the Junior League of Greater Charlotte.

Scott Burns joined ISIS Fund Services as Senior Vice President – Private Equity in November 2012 and is responsible for managing the private equity fund administration operations and assisting with product and business development efforts. Most recently, Scott served as Head of JP Morgan Private Equity & Real Estate Services (JPM Bermuda) and legal entity director. Before closing its offices in November, 2012, JPM Bermuda was a fund administration company established and licensed in Bermuda in 2007 providing comprehensive private equity fund administration services to investment managers with both offshore and onshore funds and other cross border structures. Scott has over 16 years of fund industry experience having previously worked as Head of Private Equity Fund Services for Schroders Bermuda, which was purchased by JPM Bermuda in 2010.
Scott joined Schroders Bermuda in 1996 where he gained extensive experience in fund administration and was responsible for overseeing the fund accounting, investor services, audit and Net Asset Value preparation for global clients. He was also responsible for managing all new client implementations from an operational perspective and for establishing standards, controls and procedures for the Bermuda operations.
Prior to joining Schroders Bermuda, Scott worked as tax senior in the investment group of KPMG and is a CPA.
Mike Gentile, a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, joined ISIS in September 2012 and is responsible for managing the operations of ISIS Fund Services USA Inc. including portfolio and fund accounting as well as investor services. With over 14 years’ experience in the area of fund administration, Mike joined ISIS from Citi Hedge Fund Services (Citi) where he was a Senior Vice President managing a business unit providing investor services for over 50 hedge fund clients with combined net assets in excess of $20 billion. At Citi, Mike managed up to 35 staff and was responsible for the investor services relationships of many large and diverse clients, as well as managing and coordinating projects that included fund launches, system development and system conversions. Prior to his 12 years at Citi, Mike’s accounting career began with State Street Corporation, a mutual funds administrator located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mike graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Finance.
Marc joined ISIS in July 2012 and is responsible for managing the hedge fund administration operations of the Bermuda office including portfolio and fund accounting as well as investor services. With over 12 years’ experience in the area of fund administration, Marc joined ISIS from Citi Hedge Fund Services (Citi) where he was a Vice President managing a business unit providing accounting for up to 65 hedge funds with combined net assets totaling $12.5 billion. Marc managed up to 35 staff and was responsible for the accounting relationships of many large and diverse clients, as well as managing and coordinating projects that included fund launches, system development and system conversions. Prior to his 10 years at Citi, Marc’s accounting career began with Deutsche Bank Global Fund Services, a mutual funds administrator located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Marc graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in May 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

Asha joined ISIS in October 2007 and is responsible for providing operations support in the form of compliance and shareholder services reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and has been appointed as the Risk Officer reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Asha has over 15 years offshore fund industry experience starting her career with BNY Mellon Alternative Investment Services Ltd. (formerly International Fund Administration Limited) (BNY) in 1996. Asha left BNY as the Assistant Manager of the Shareholder Services Department in January 2000 and joined Citigroup Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd. (formerly Forum Funds Services Ltd.) (Citigroup), initially, as the Assistant Manager within the Registrar & Transfer Agency group.
During her tenure at Citigroup, Asha was promoted to Head of Shareholder Services and then transferred to the position of Operations Control Manager with responsibility for compliance, risk and controls including acting as Business Information Security Officer and Continuity of Business Officer.
Stephanie joined ISIS Fund Services Ltd. in 2008 and is responsible for providing daily support to the operations department. Stephanie, who has over 18 years experience in the areas of accounting, audit, taxation and financial services, 9 of which are in fund administration, joined ISIS from Citigroup Fund Services (Citigroup) where she was an Assistant Vice President responsible for numerous fund launches, conversions and accounting services of many complex fund structures. Prior to joining Citigroup, she worked with Bisys Hedge Fund Services focusing on both onshore and offshore hedge funds. Stephanie began her career at Baker Tilly, a leading independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers.
Stephanie is a Chartered Accountant and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Janine joined ISIS in August 2008 with overall responsibility for providing fund accounting and investor services to a portfolio of clients and reviewing the work of other fund accountants. Janine has over 11 years’ experience in the areas of accounting, audit and financial services. Prior to joining ISIS, Janine worked with Deloitte & Touche, Bermuda where she was an audit senior in the alternative investment group, dealing with a variety of offshore hedge funds. Janine began her career in financial sector audit at Moores Rowland in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Janine is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Donnell joined ISIS in January 2012 as a Senior Account Manager with overall responsibility for providing fund accounting and investor services to a portfolio of clients and reviewing the work of other fund accountants and investor services administrators. Donnell has 14 years’ experience in the areas of accounting, audit, share registration and financial services. Prior to joining ISIS, Donnell worked at BCB Fund Services, a subsidiary of the Bermuda Commercial Bank Limited (BCB), where she was an Accounting Manager responsible for the management and operations of the accountant and share registration team. Prior to joining BCB, she worked as an Account Manager for Citigroup and JP Morgan. Donnell began her career at Butterfield Fund Services Limited where she gained valuable knowledge and experience in fund administration, also attaining her Masters of Business Administration.
Arlene joined ISIS in January 2010 with overall responsibility for providing fund accounting and investor services to a portfolio of clients. Arlene has over 12 years’ experience in the areas of accounting, audit and financial services. Arlene joined ISIS from Citigroup Fund Services, Bermuda, a hedge fund administration division of Citigroup Fund Services (Citigroup), where she was a Senior Fund Accountant responsible for the accounting for hedge funds. Prior to joining Citigroup, she worked as an Auditor Senior at Ernst & Young, Barbados, a leading professional services firm.
Arlene is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Guyana.
Moses joined ISIS as a Senior Fund Accountant in 2008 and has overall responsibility for the provision of fund accounting and investor services to a portfolio of clients. In this role, Moses is responsible for managing the client relationship, preparation and analysis of financial statements, provision of assistance to auditors and other fund participants and advisers and other ad hoc tasks as required. Moses has over 8 years’ experience in the areas of accounting, audit, tax and financial services.
Prior to joining ISIS, Moses worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Bermuda, a leading professional services firm, where he was a senior associate in the Private Company Services group responsible for Audit & Assurance. Whilst at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Moses also assisted in the managing of business, financial and controls risk.
Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Moses worked as an Audit & Assurance Manager in Zimbabwe and he is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe.
Nick joined ISIS Fund Services Ltd. in April 2011 and is responsible for providing fund accounting and investor services to a portfolio of clients. Nick has close to eight years of experience which he gained working with two other fund administrators, Nottingham Investment Administration based in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and GlobeOp Financial Services based in Harrison, New York, prior to joining ISIS. Nick also spent two years with Ellington Management, LLC, a hedge fund adviser in Old Greenwich, Connecticut where he was responsible for several funds containing a wide variety of instruments including: mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities, interest rate swaps, US treasuries, equities and futures.
Nick graduated from University of Connecticut in May 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with focuses in Accounting and IT.
Jennifer joined ISIS in February 2011 as a Senior Fund Administrator with overall responsibility for providing Investor Services to a portfolio of clients and their investors. Jennifer has 14 years’ experience in the offshore fund industry having started her career with WW Asset Management, an investment management company that provides advice and management services to offshore investment companies.
During her years at WW Asset Management, Jennifer worked as a liaison between Directors, offshore administrators and overseas and local banks. She was responsible for maintaining the share register and share transfers for various funds.
Stuart joined ISIS Fund Services in November 2012 as Vice President – Private Equity after working for two years in a similar position at JP Morgan Private Equity & Real Estate Services (“JPM Bermuda”). JPM Bermuda was a fund administration company established and licensed in Bermuda to provide comprehensive fund administration services to investment managers with both offshore and onshore funds and other cross border structures. Stuart has 8 years of offshore fund industry experience having previously worked as Team Leader of Private Equity Fund Services for Schroders Bermuda which he joined in 2006. This company was purchased by JPM Bermuda in 2010. Prior to this, in 2004, Stuart joined HSBC Bermuda in their Private Equity Department where he was a Client Accounting Supervisor.
Since 2004 Stuart has specialized in private equity administration where he gained extensive experience in fund administration and was responsible for overseeing the fund accounting, shareholder services, audit and Net Asset Value preparation for global clients. He was also responsible for managing all new client implementations from an operational perspective and for establishing standards, controls and procedures for the Bermuda operations.
Stuart has 13 years professional accounting experience and prior to specializing in Private Equity he was a Management Accountant for The Institute of Food Research and started his career at PKF as audit senior. Stuart is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Sonja joined ISIS Fund Services Ltd. in October 2012 as a Group Manager – Private Equity with overall responsibility for managing a group of staff providing accounting and investor services to a portfolio of clients. Prior to joining ISIS, Sonja was a Fund Accountant – AVP at JP Morgan Private Equity & Real Estate Services (”JPM Bermuda”) serving in that capacity since 2007. JPM Bermuda was a fund administration company established and licensed in Bermuda to provide comprehensive fund administration services to investment managers with both offshore and onshore funds and other cross border structures but closed its offices in November 2012. At JPM Bermuda, Sonja was responsible for managing a team who service a wide variety of complex private equity fund structures for a portfolio of clients. She was responsible for preparing and reviewing the books and records for a number of clients; including quarterly reporting and preparation of regulatory statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
Prior to joining JP Morgan, Sonja worked for Citi Hedge Fund Services as a Senior Fund Accountant from 2005 to 2007 where she was responsible for reconciling cash and broker positions, calculating net asset values, preparing financial statements and assisting with annual audits.
Sonja is a FCCA and graduated from the University of the West Indies with a B.Sc. in Economics.
Jen joined ISIS Fund Services Ltd. in early January 2013 as a Group Manager – Investor Services and has overall responsibility for managing a group of staff providing investor services to a portfolio of clients and their investors. Prior to joining ISIS, Jen spent approximately three years as an Investor Services Officer with International Fund Services (IFS), a division of State Street Alternative Investment Solutions which provides a complete suite of fund accounting, fund administration and risk services to hedge funds and private equity funds. At IFS, Jen was responsible for launching the US AML team where she managed a staff of 13 team members between the NY and Boston offices. The US AML team was responsible for remediating all investors in the funds administered by IFS. Prior to launching this new team, Jen managed a team of 4 investor relations specialists who worked on converting client funds to the IFS platform and provided day to day administration services for some of the largest and most sophisticated hedge funds and private equity funds.
Prior to IFS, Jen held various investor services and compliance positions with various well known fund administration companies.
Jen graduated from SUNY-Empire State College, Saratoga Springs, NY with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Economics and is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
Sally joined ISIS as a Senior Account Manager in September 2012 with overall responsibility for providing fund accounting and investor services to a portfolio of clients and reviewing the work of other fund accountants.
Prior to joining ISIS, Sally was a Fund Accountant at JP Morgan Private Equity & Real Estate Services (”JPM Bermuda”) and served in that capacity since 2011. JPM Bermuda is a fund administration company established and licensed in Bermuda to provide comprehensive fund administration services to investment managers with both offshore and onshore funds and other cross border structures. Sally was responsible for servicing a wide variety of complex private equity fund structures for a portfolio of clients. She was responsible for preparing and reviewing the books and records for a number of clients; including quarterly reporting and preparation of regulatory statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
Prior to joining JP Morgan, Sally worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2007 to 2011. She was employed in the assurance department and has worked in both the UK and Bermuda offices. She was responsible for managing teams and was promoted to manager in 2011.
Sally graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Kelly joined ISIS Fund Services in November 2012 as a Senior Fund Administrator with overall responsibility for providing investor services to a portfolio of clients and their investors. Prior to joining ISIS, Kelly worked as an Investor Services Specialist at JP Morgan Private Equity & Real Estate Services (JPM Bermuda). JPM Bermuda, was a fund administration company established and licensed in Bermuda to provide comprehensive fund administration services to investment managers with both offshore and onshore funds and other cross border structures. Kelly has over 19 years of fund administration experience having previously worked as Lead Specialist Investor Services for Private Equity Fund Services, Schroders Bermuda, which was purchased by JPM Bermuda in 2010.
Kelly joined Schroders Bermuda in 1993 where she gained extensive experience in the investor services side of the fund administration and was responsible for database management and document distribution for Private Equity investors. She also provided account assistance to the Fund accountants, including processing wire payments, recording daily cash transactions and preparing monthly bank reconciliations. She was also responsible for maintaining all cost and billing records for the Bermuda operations.
Prior to joining Schroders Bermuda, Kelly worked as an Administrator at Ernst & Young in Bermuda.

Lynniece L. Robinson joined ISIS in July 2008 and is responsible for managing the Company’s Corporate Services Department which is dedicated to the provision of corporate secretarial and regulatory compliance services to funds, companies, partnerships and unit trusts that are domiciled in Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and the British Virgin Islands. Lynniece has been instrumental in building the infrastructure of the department including managing ViewPoint, the Company’s corporate database system. At the same time, Lynniece has her own extremely active portfolio of clients which largely involve infrastructure funds.
Lynniece has extensive corporate knowledge and experience having previously worked at The Bank of Bermuda Limited (a member of the HSBC group) for 21 years and earned successive promotions in HSBC Securities Services, Management Services Department to the position of Deputy Manager where she was responsible for managing a team of administrators who provided corporate governance and administrative services to a wide range of Bermuda, Cayman and British Virgin Islands investment vehicles to which she was the named Company Secretary.
Anne joined ISIS in September 2007 and is responsible for the provision of corporate secretarial and regulatory compliance services to a growing portfolio of offshore funds, management and investment holding companies domiciled in Bermuda, Cayman and the British Virgin Islands. Anne has developed particular expertise in working with infrastructure funds. Anne possesses extensive corporate experience, most recently focused on infrastructure funds, and has a strong working knowledge of ViewPoint, a corporate secretarial database, utilized by ISIS.
Anne has more than 12 years’ experience as a company secretary starting her career as a corporate administrator and subsequently being promoted to Assistant Manager of the Asset Finance Team of Appleby Global, an international law firm based in Bermuda with offices in Cayman, BVI, Jersey, Hong Kong and London.
Prior to joining ISIS, Anne worked at Citigroup Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd. as a Senior Corporate Administrator and as Company Secretary at Bermuda Commercial Bank and the Argus Group of Companies, a local bank and insurance group, respectively, both listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Janice L. Haskins joined ISIS in August 2008 and is responsible for the corporate administration of a growing portfolio of offshore funds, including inter alia, hedge funds, Insurance Linked Securities funds, management and investment holding companies domiciled in Bermuda, Cayman and BVI. Janice also assists Senior Management with the Corporate Governance framework and special projects.
Prior to joining ISIS, Janice worked at The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited for 20 years as a documentation analyst and earned successive promotions to the position of Vice President of Policies and Procedures Department, of the Enterprise Risk Management Division. As Vice President, Janice was responsible for managing a team who provided Group-wide policies, assisted various jurisdictions to develop standardised procedure manuals and assisted the President and Chief Operating Officer with corporate governance for internal bank committees within Butterfield Group, consisting of businesses in Bermuda, Cayman, Barbados, the Bahamas, the United Kingdom, Guernsey, Switzerland, Malta and Hong Kong.

Yvonne joined ISIS in October 2011 and is responsible for assisting with the financial control of the Company reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Yvonne and has over 10 years experience in the areas of Financial and Management accounting, having previously worked as a financial accountant at Arthur Morris, Christensen, a Bermuda based accounting firm. Yvonne previously worked as a financial accountant at Rabobank (Ireland), reporting directly to the CFO of Rabobank (Ireland). Prior to joining Rabobank she worked for Bank of Scotland (Ireland) as a Management Accountant in the Asset Finance Division.
Yvonne is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in Ireland.
